Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a individual who breached a barricade and grabbed the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet surrounded by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents showed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed contains videos of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Well-being

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said one more comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also questioned security officers at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others called for online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Many of fans had congregated in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore mall, including some who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The movie, to be launched on 21 November, is the sequel of a dual interpretation of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which focuses on the surprising bond between two very different sorceresses.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of 2024 in the UK, and earned 10 Academy Award nods, earning a pair for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
