It's tough for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the record chasers, are what's still available for a squad that has achieved everything.

One run resulted off the bowler's initial ball and from there the batsman was underway.

"The possibility to play and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself that way, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was dismissed her side required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if we do, we are confident we can do it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this victory succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.

During that phase they left the previous year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.
